Over the weekend, we were warmly welcomed at the Adara Richmond in Melbourne.  The Adara is a short drive from Melbourne City and is conveniently located just off Bridge Road.  It’s great for shopping up a storm at all the outlets.  The serviced apartments are a “home away from home” and are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas, bedrooms (depending on what apartment size you’re in) and laundry facilities.

THE ROOM

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a Queen Size bed and fold out couch, which was really spacious.  I was really surprised with the amount of space in the apartment and there was literally room for my daughter to run and up and down the hallway, which she did most of the night.  We found the room to be very clean and modern.  Our apartment also had a decent Flat Screen TV to watch the AFL Footy Finals on, complimentary Foxtel and WiFi internet access.

Our apartment also had a huge balcony which would have been great to sit out on if the Melbourne weather was better.  We also decided to try out the room service and the menu was fantastic with lots of choices available all at very reasonable prices.  We definitely like our room service so this was a win for us.

THE FACILITIES

The Adara has a brand new gymnasium.  We didn’t get to test it out but we did have a look around and it looked fantastic.  Undercover secure parking is also available on request for $30 per day, so make sure you request it on booking so you don’t miss out.  The only noticeable thing missing was a swimming pool.  We didn’t really miss it, because the weather was so poor, but it’s always nice to have a swim when there’s a pool available.

OUR THOUGHTS

Our overall stay at the Adara Richmond was really fantastic.  The Adara has accommodation options for business travelers and for leisure travelers offering studio apartments, one bedroom, one bedroom executive or two bedroom apartments.  Our stay was very comfortable and really enjoyable and we really loved the complimentary donuts and coffee that was served at reception. What a great touch.  We will definitely be back to stay again.

Now the only one thing that confused us all was the below photo.  We were in room 125 and we couldn’t find it. Was it left or was it right?
