Christmas time, my favourite time of the year. And now with my 23 month old daughter, it’s even more enjoyable. I couldn’t wait to attend the media night of Santa’s Magical Kingdom. I hadn’t heard too much about the event before so I didn’t really know what to expect.

We arrived there nice and early and the queue to get in was huge. The doors opened sharply at 7pm and what a stampede to get in. We just waited a little while and then went in. Once we walked through the doors and handed over our tickets, my first thought was WOW. What a wonderful first impression.

We decided to go and check out all the rides to start with. There was the Magical Train, Santa’s Magical Sleigh Ride, Jet Planes, Laughing Clowns and the Super Slide.

At 8pm, the Christmas themed circus production by Silvers started. In true circus style, the Circus Tent was set up beautifully. The 30 minute show was amazing. The skills, stunts, magic and illusions were just wonderful and my daughter kept asking for more. An appearance from Mr. Claus himself also topped of the show.

After the show, we headed over to Gingerbread Land where you are given a Gingerbread Man to decorate and ice yourself. My daughter had an amazing time eating the icing and smarties.

The LEGO Brick Zone was also a great hit. I heard that the first 10,000 children to visit will also receive a LEGO gift.

We had a fabulous time at Santa’s Magical Kingdom. I will always remember this event as it was the first time my daughter was calling out for Santa. It’s a great place to spend some quality Christmas Spirit with your family and the lasting memories will be forever.

Tickets can be purchased from Ticketek or by calling 1300 307 740. Family tickets (which consist of 2 Adults and 2 Children aged between 2-12 years of age) are $130.00.

Thank you to Santa’s Magical Kingdom for having my family and I as a guest to this event. My opinion as always, is my own.
