Over the weekend, I was welcomed back at one of my favourite dessert bars in Melbourne, Om Nom Kitchen Dessert Bar at the iconic Adelphi Hotel.  Over the last couple of months, my social media accounts have been teasing me with the Chocolate Terrariums and I thought it was definitely time to go and see what all the fuss was about.

Om Nom Kitchen and Dessert bar are not just known for making desserts, but are actually known for producing and creating beautiful little pieces of art.

I was eagerly waiting to temp my taste buds on the Chocaquarium.  The dessert is served in a dome with cinnamon sugared churros, chocolate “gravel” pistachio sponge, raspberry sponge, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate, berry compote, milk foam, caramelised white chocolate mousse, whipped raspberry ganache and topped with the adorable little chocolate fish.

MY THOUGHTS

Overall, I had a wonderful time at Om Nom Kitchen Dessert Bar and the Chocaquarium was everything and more then I imagined it to be.  If you are looking to experience a unique dessert, than this is the place to come and dine.  The setting is absolutely beautiful and the desserts are just divine.  Well Done Om Nom.
