On Friday afternoon, I had the opportunity to taste an express lunch, desserts and champagne at Om Nom Kitchen Dessert Bar at the stylish Adelphi Hotel in Melbourne.

What does OM NOM mean you ask, well I had the same question.  I was told that the phrase “Om Nom” can be defined as “the sound of eating something absolutely delicious”.

What was on the Menu for me?

Main Meal

Wagyu tataki, sesame & white misco emulsion

Crispy skin barramundi, sweet corn puree & pickle raddish

Desserts

Raspberry Field: raspberry & lychee sorbet, meringue, rosewater pearls & white chocolate

Mango Alphonso: choux pastry, mango mousse, kalamansi sorbet, lemongrass-ginger coconut foam

I had a great time at Om Nom Kitchen Dessert Bar and would definitely recommend it to everyone.  The main meals were fantastic and the desserts, wow, what can I say?  The signature desserts by Head Chef Christy Tania were truly spectacular.  A piece of art that takes you a moment to actually want to put your spoon in and devour it.

I would like to thank the Adelphi Hotel for hosting for my visit, and always, my opinion is my own.
