Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia’s first International theme park which was opened in September 2012 and is located in the area of Johor Bahru, just north of Singapore.  Legoland Malaysia is the first of its kind in Asia and is the 6th Legoland themed park in the world.  With over 70 rides, attractions and shows, its no wonder why this attraction is a sure winner with families

Legoland theme park is split into 8 different zones.  The Beginning, Lego Ninjago World, Miniland, Imagination, Lego Technic, Lego Kingdom, Land of Adventure and Lego City.

MINI LAND

Miniland is at the centre of Legoland Malaysia and is amazing.  It was built with over 30 million LEGO® bricks that showcase famous attractions from 17 Asian countries such as the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore’s Merlion, India’s Taj Mahal and even Johor’s own unique landmarks. Many of the icons and attractions are animated at the touch of a button, so visitors of all ages can enjoy the sights and sounds.

OUR THOUGHTS

We had a great time at Legoland Malaysia Theme Park.  We didn’t get to do all the rides in one day as the weather was so hot and humid, so it took much longer then first planned.  This theme park is fantastic for kids and families and we highly recommend it as an attraction for you and your family.

We would like to thank Legoland Theme Park for hosting our visit and as always, we would never recommend a service or product that we didn’t honestly enjoy.

LEGOLAND WATER PARK

Legoland Waterpark is located just next to Legoland Theme Park and is a great waterpark for the whole family.

THE RIDES

Build A Boat

Unleash your imagination and creativity in an awesome boat building game and race it down rapids to see who will emerge the top captain.

Build a Raft

What’s more exciting that building stuff on land? Building your best LEGO® raft with colourful LEGO bricks, of course.

Joker Soaker

This was one of our favourite spots to play and enjoy the water.  They had a water tipping bucket and it is the biggest one we have ever seen.

Lego Wave Pool

The Lego Wave Pool is definitely a favourite.  The waves do run a lot longer then most water parks that we have been too but have a longer wait time in between.

Splash N Swirl

All the best splashes and swirls happen here. Simply grab a tube, bring your friends or family along, spin your way down and scream your lungs out.

Tidal Tube

Feel the adrenaline rush when sliding down a 240-feet high enclosed tunnel, with heart-thumping twists and turns for a memorable and mind-blowing ride.

Twin Chasers

We’ve doubled the fun with twin side-by-side red tubes that send you soaring and sliding down 130 feet of “splash-tacular” thrills which ends in a relaxing wading area for you to catch your breath.

Wave Rider

Higher and scarier, the Wave Rider is a 240-feet high open body slide tunnel of fun terror and terrific thrills. Catch every wave and ride with pride.

THE FOOD

Beach Grill

Beach Grill serves up fast food including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, drinks and desserts all at affordable prices.

HOT TIPS

** Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water as it’s so humid and hot walking around the park.

** Bring plenty of sunscreen and keep reapplying.

**You can leave on your thongs or slippers as each ride has storage blocks for your shoes.
