Myuna Farm is a public farm strangely located in the south eastern suburb of Doveton.  The farm is located at 182 Kidds Road, Doveton, Melbourne, Victora, 3177.

I decided to take my family there over the weekend to see what everyone has been raving about and Im glad I did.

Once we entered through the barn like entrance we were given a loaf of bread to feed the animals.  My daughter decided that the bread was not only good enough for the animals, but was good enough for her too.   I tried to explain to her the bread was more then a couple of days old, but she didn’t seem to worry.

Myuna Farm provides a hand on experience with a variety of animals.  From pony rides to feeding giant muddy pigs, to cuddling baby rabbits and guinea pigs, Myuna Farm has something for everyone.  There is also a kid’s playground with a slide and a couple of swings to keep them entertained if the animals are not enough.

Myuna Farm is also a fantastic location for you child’s next Birthday Party.  They have a variety of different rooms, sheds and gazebos that can cater for all sizes of functions.  Please call 03 9706 9944 for any further information on costs.

Myuna Farm is a great place to take the family.  One negative point about the place is that there is no food available apart from the vending machine.  It would be great to see a little café or food store go in there.  There are a number of barbecues around the farm to use as well, so either pack a picnic lunch or gather some friends and have a BBQ.
