Over the weekend I was lucky enough to attend The High Tea Party event at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. I also attended last year’s one at the Hilton on the Park, so I was really looking forward to attending.
The event which is held in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth is run over two days in each state and includes a wonderful high tea sitting, workshops, fashion parades, pamper stations, styling, makeup workshops, nail and hand massages, food tastings, champagne and endless amounts of shopping.
My High tea sitting was at 10.30am in the Grand Ballroom and it was beautifully set up. The High Tea included gourmet sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, a variety of small delicious cakes, tea and coffee and a take home goodie bag.
Once the High Tea was finished, it was time to wonder through all the market stalls, tasting, sampling and having complimentary makeovers.
The High Tea Party is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Their goal by the end of 2015 is to reach $50,000 in fundraising through a contribution in ticket sales and guest participation at each of the High Tea Parties in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in 2015.
I headed over to the NBCF Stall and had a $10 spin on the wheel. I didn’t win the BIG Prize but was happy my money was being donated to such a worthy cause. For more information please visit www.nbcf.org.au
The only one suggestion that could of made my experience better would of be that while the fashion show was running, I think my table was sitting directly beneath the speakers and it was so loud that we couldn’t talk to one another until the commentary was finished. Other than that, it was a great event.
I had a wonderful day at The High Tea Party and would definitely recommend that you all book tickets for next year. It’s a great reason to catch up with the girls and have a fabulous day, while supporting a fantastic charity at the same time.

I would also like to thank Alison Dean from The Peppermint Group for donating two tickets so that I could enjoy and experience this wonderful day with you all.
