The Shanti Residence is located in Nusa Dua which is roughly a 35-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. It is an authentic and alluring private residence with seven spacious villa bedrooms settled on the hills of Bali’s ample prestigious Nusa Dua resort area. The Residence overlooks the Indian Ocean and is within minutes to the beach. It’s private, secluded and just pure beauty.

THE ROOM

We were lucky enough to experience a Premium Suite Room which was 180sqm in size and was designed with a modern Balinese style. It’s very generous in size and it’s fantastic for families with kids.

THE FACILITIES

The Shanti Residence is equipped with a small fitness centre for those wanting a work out while on holidays. The residence also has an infinity edge swimming pool which is great to relax in and swim all day under the hot Balinese sun. The view from the pool deck is wonderful and we were able to sit back and watch all the para gliders gliding over the beach area.

There is also a movie room, with hundreds of movie titles, with a huge projector screen that we used to watch movies in with our little one.

DINING

The Shanti Residence has a communal dining area where you can sit and order food and drinks. You are also able to sit in the gardens, in your room or by the swimming pool and enjoy beautifully cooked Indonesian and western meals. We had two breakfasts, one in our room and one in the dining area to experience both ways, and honestly, they were just as good as each other.

We were also lucky enough to have a romantic dinner set up, just outside our room and have a private chef cook us a delicious barbecue. It was so lovely to experience this with just our family.

The Shanti Residence is not a hotel but a small intimate residence that can give you memorable dining experiences, so just let them know what you would like, and they can cater to your needs.

OUR THOUGHTS

We had a fantastic stay at The Shanti Residence and what made our stay amazing was the staff. They really did look after our every need and ensured that our stay was fantastic. The residence is a little out of the way (off the beaten track as I would call it), and not close to any shops, but they do have a driver that will take you wherever you need to go. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity, then this residence is ideal for you. Thank you to Neri, Lutfi, Aryai and Wayan for making our stay memorable.
