We have always wanted to experience dining at one of Jamie Oliver’s many worldwide restaurants and we finally had the opportunity on our recent holiday to Bali. The location of the restaurant is in the beautiful grounds of the Hard Rock Hotel, Kuta, Bali.
Jamie’s Italian Restaurant was founded by Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, in Oxford, 2008. Since then it has grown to more than 60 restaurants worldwide, with plans for even more in towns, cities and countries around the world. The restaurant is inspired by Italy and many of its traditions and values.
The restaurant is very rustic and also features beautiful work by local artists. They also only use fresh seasoned ingredients to make all their delicious meals. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 am – 11 pm.
We were also invited to experience the amazing Hard Rock Hotel Swimming pool, which apparently is the largest free-form swimming pool in Bali. The swimming pool features it’s own Sand Island which hosts volleyball and other activities.
If you’re looking for that extra bit of luxury then book one of the 22 poolside cabanas which will give you some shade form the hot Balinese Sun. You will also be able to order food and refreshments served from Splash Bistro and store away all your belongings too. There is also a child safe swimming pool which hosts a waterslide and is supervised at all times.
We would like to thank Jamie’s Italian Restaurant for hosting our visit and as always, we would never recommend a service or product that we didn’t honestly enjoy.
