A Maze N Things is located in Cowes, Phillip Island and is roughly a 1.5 hour drive on a good day from Melbourne City. Now I’m sure that most of you have all driven past it but how many of you have actually gone in and experienced this little beauty?
I think I might have visited when I was really small, but I will have to ask my parents about this. I have, however, driven past it many of times, so I thought it was time to drop in and see what it was all about.
A Maze N Things is a fun filled interactive world filled with puzzles, mazes, mini golf and different illusions.
I must say that I think I’m pretty smart when it comes to these sorts of brain teasers, but let me tell you, when we did our walk through with the Park Owner, Geoff, I was pretty stumped when we came to one of the rooms. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that gravity got the better of me.
We absolutely loved the “Look Out” slide and didn’t dare go anywhere near it. We got our enjoyment from it by watching other grown men tremble in fear when they went down the steep slide. Ha Ha.
One of the latest additions to the park is the SkyTrail. It features challenges in high rope courses and it’s the first of its kind in Victoria.

MY THOUGHTS
Overall we had a fantastic time at A Maze N Things. It tested our brains and really got us thinking. I must say we were a little confused at times and I could see that my daughter was really interested in most things too. Apart from the brain teasers and optical illusions, we really loved the maze. We let our daughter lead the way and let’s just say between us (sshhh, she didn’t do very well) so we had to use the emergency exit.
We were lucky enough to have a behind the scenes tour of the new Magic Manor which is opening in September. I really don’t want to give too much away but I highly recommend a visit if you like Magicians, Magic and going back in time.
