Our last Theme Park on the agenda was Seaworld.  Seaworld is located on Seaworld Drive, Main Beach in Queensland.

THE ANIMALS

I wanted to take our daughter to see most of the animals before we went on the rides. Make sure you check out the timetable for all timings so you won’t miss any shows. We were able to see Dolphin Beach, Creatures of the Deep, Polar Bear Shores, Penguin Encounter and Ray Reef.  I found these to be such an educational experience for my daughter.

THE RIDES

Seaworld probably has the least amount of rides out of all the Theme Parks, but the ones they have are fantastic.  They cater for all ages.  Some of the rides we checked out were the Storm Coaster, Jet Rescue, the Viking Revenge Flume and the famous Seaworld Monorail.

Castaway Bay was another favourite at the end of the day. The weather was warm and we decided it was time to get wet.  The interactive adventure playground has something for everyone.  We jumped onto the Battle Boats and I think we failed as we were DRENCHED.

THE SHOWS

The first show of the day was the Jet Stunt Extreme.  This is an amazing show with some of the world’s best Jet Ski riders including Lee Stone and Jon Cooke.  Watch in amazement as they do aerial flips and dangerous stunts.

The highlight of the day was to watch Dora’s Best Friend Adventure Show with my daughter.  It’s a fun musical adventure with Dora, Boots and their friends.

The last show of the day was Affinity Dolphin Show.  This is a wonderful show with the dolphins and their trainers.

THE FOOD

The majority of food available at Seaworld is of the burger, chips and Pizza variety. There is an assortment of other takeaway foods available at vendors located around the park.  For the pizza lovers, there is a Domino’s Pizza stand.  And for the ice cream lovers, grab a delicious ice cream from the Colonial Ice Cream Parlour, they are amazing.

PRICES

There are different variety passes available, so please check out the website to see what best suits you.

OPENING TIMES

Gates open 9.30am and close 5.30pm.

HOT TIPS

**Bring a towel and a change of clothes in case you get wet on the rides.

**Go in early and time your shows as there is a lot to see.

**Ring ahead to see what rides or attractions are closed due to maintenance or season.  The Sea World Resort Water Park was closed due to the season although the weather was a nice 28 degrees when we went.

**As it was off season, the lines for the rides were very short.  Approximately 10 minute wait for the rides.

**Visiting with kids (as it was my first time) everything takes a little bit longer, rides, walking, eating, toilet breaks, so again, plan your day wisely.

Overall, we had a great day at Seaworld.  My daughter was absolutely over the moon because she was able to meet Dora, Boots and Friends.

I would like to thank Seaworld for hosting my visit and as always, I would never endorse or recommend a service or product that I didn’t honestly enjoy!
