Shhh, I’m going to tell you a little secret about a local hot spot we found on our recent trip to the Gold Coast.  It’s called Tallebudgera Creek and can be found at Palm Beach.  Many of you might have heard of it, or even driven over it on your way from Coolangatta Airport to Surfers Paradise, but for us, it was something new.

Tallebudgera is best known for its sparkling creek which is framed by the Burleigh Heads National Park on one side and Palm Beach on the other. This is the focal point for any visit to Tallebudgera where the lifestyle is all about camping, swimming, picnicking, kayaking and a spot of fishing.

Tallebudgera Creek is a great little spot which has a flagged area and a Lifeguard tower.  The area can get quite busy, so you need to get here early.  Free car parking is available on site and there are also change rooms, toilets, beach showers, picnic tables and a Surf Club offering light food.  There is also a small play area for the kids which is completely shaded in and includes a slide and seesaw.

Check out the photos below and let me know if you have visited this local hot spot.
