When I think of High Teas, I think of indulgence, luxury, femininity, elegance, style, sophistication, divine food and scrumptious desserts.

I have been lucky enough to attend a couple of High Tea’s and one that I thoroughly enjoyed and craved to revisit was the Cristina Re “Where a Girl Goes” High Tea.

A table was reserved on my behalf for the “La Dolce Vita Signature High Tea” and the package details included the following.

Guests are welcomed with a selection of beverages followed by sweet and savoury delights served in elegant signature Cristina Re 24 carat gold porcelain table ware. Guests are invited to enjoy this high tea over a 1-2 hour booking.

Plus every guest receives a 24 carat gold tea spoon as a special keepsake by Cristina Re to take home!

Sweets selection: Cupcakes, Macarons, Petite-fours & Scones

Savoury selection: Gourmet Finger Sandwiches & Mini Bagels

Drinks selection: Coffee, Signature Tea Blends, Hot Chocolate, Chai Latte or Juice

Bookings – minimum of 2 people. Bookings are required a minimum of 1 week in advance. 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Once I had arrived at the Cristina Re Concept store in Collingwood, I was warmly welcomed and promptly escorted to our reserved table. The table was beautifully set up with Cristina Re branded tableware.

Within a few moments of being seated and amazed by all the beautiful products that surround the French inspired café, our waitress was informing us of the drinks menu.

As my preferred hot drink is not tea (and yes I know, I’m at a High Tea which is famous for it’s varieties of delectable teas) I decided that my drink of choice was the Belgium Hot Chocolate. And once it arrived, I knew I made the right choice. It was delicious. Creamy and not too chocolaty, it was the perfect blend.

First to arrive at our stylish table, were two warmed freshly cooked scones. This was one of my reasons for coming back. These scones, as I remembered last time were delightful. The best part about the scones was the cream. A beautiful sweet vanilla tasting cream that just melted onto the scones.

Next to arrive was the three tiered gorgeous Cristina Re cake stand. On the bottom tier was a selection of assorted sandwiches with fillings including salmon and cream, cucumber and cream cheese and chicken. I really enjoyed the assortment of chicken quiches with crispy pastry.

The second tier had a variety of tarts and French macarons that just liquefied in your mouth. The top tier had three perfectly iced gorgeous looking cupcakes. My favorite one was the Red Velvet.

This package is absolutely divine and the best part about it is that you receive a Cristina Re 24 carat gold plated teaspoon as a take home keepsake.

I had a wonderful time at “Where a Girl Goes” at Cristina Re and encourage you to come and enjoy the amazing experience. I’m looking forward to returning with a couple of girlfriends to show them the fabulous time that I had.
