There’s just something about Christmas that always puts a smile on your face, and at the opening night of Santa’s Magical Kingdom, it did more than just that.

We were lucky enough to experience this amazing event last year for the first time and I couldn’t wait to return with my daughter as she’s at a fantastic age now to enjoy and understand it all.

When we arrived, we firstly headed over to the Gingerbread Land where you are given a Gingerbread Man to decorate and ice yourself. My daughter didn’t really decorate it, but just ate all the bits separately which she enjoyed immensely.

Afterwards we decided to go on a couple of rides before the circus show started.

At 8pm, we headed over to the Circus Tent and were ready for the show.  The show was fabulous filled with amazing stunts, tricks and a couple of death defying acts.  An appearance from Santa himself was also a crowd favorite.

After the show, my daughter decided she was ready to meet a couple of beautiful princesses and Mrs. Claus herself.  She also decided to write her letter to Santa and posted in the mail box which is expressed to the North Pole.

All in all, we had an absolute wonderful night, filled with Christmas spirit and great memories.
